Description: Ndia-Ini Factory is managed by Rumukia Farmers Co-operative Society where they cultivate an average of 250 trees across over 300 acres. The red volcanic soils are rich in phosphorus and are well drained which adds to the quality of the cup. The coffee is wet-processed where the full ripe cherries are pulped, fermented, washed and dried slowly over 2-3 weeks. Nyeri County has cool temperatures and fertile central highlands, lying between the Eastern base of the Aberdare Range and the western slopes of Mt. Kenya.
